Something in the Sparkle

Eyes like diamonds,
peering through those shaded gold rims,
the beauty that can look deep within,
deep where the soul lives,
and the soul, it cannot lie,
it shows you all that it is, all that it can be
and that beauty looking in fills it with warmth,
sees all that dwells there,
looking in so deep that secret is but a word
and thoughts can be read like pages in a book
I can see it in your eyes,
when they are looking at me
